VyprVPN developed its proprietary Chameleon protocol specifically to bypass advanced packet inspection. It uses standard OpenVPN 256-bit encryption as its foundational base, but scrambles the packet metadata. This renders the packet structures unrecognizable to DPI engines while retaining exceptional performance levels and low latency indices.
Launch the application on your computer, click on Customize inside the settings window, and locate the Protocol options menu.
Toggle the configuration button to select the Chameleon option. Avoid standard WireGuard or OpenVPN configurations when attempting to navigate strict enterprise networks.
Within Chameleon extended details, enable Automatic Port Selection. If a particular system socket feels heavy load, the app automatically switches to secondary channels to maintain connection integrity.

Port selection: Automatic (Port cycling across 443, 80, and 21)
XOR Scramble state: EnabledChameleon performs beautifully on mobile connections. If your school network shuts down internet access for mobile nodes, enabling Chameleon on your Android or iOS device will safely reroute traffic within ordinary browsing parameters.
